HEAD COACH, BEN YOUNG- Coach Young is in his third year at Terrell and second as the head baseball coach. He graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas with a degree in History. He began his coaching career at Ector Junior High and Odessa High School in Odessa, Texas before moving to Oak Ridge High School in Spring, Texas where he coached football and baseball. At Terrell, Coach Young is also a member of the Varsity Football coaching staff as well as teaching freshman World Geography. In his spare time, Coach Young loves to relax and be with his wife of 5 years and their young daughter. ASSISTANT VARSITY, NICK SHEFFIELD- Coach Sheffield has been at Terrell High School for four years. Before coming to Terrell High School he played four years of baseball for Southwestern Assemblies of God University. Upon the completion of college, he spent the summer in New York coaching a collegiate summer team called the Rochester Ridgemen. Coach Sheffield also works with the receivers and safeties on the football team. He was married this summer. HEAD JUNIOR VARSITY, ASSISTANT VARSITY- Coach Cobbs is in his second year at Terrell. He graduated from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas with a bachelor’s of science in Kinesiology. Before he got a job at Terrell, he was a volunteer baseball coach at Mart high school, where he helped take them Three rounds deep into the playoffs. At Terrell Coach Cobbs, is also a member of the Football coaching staff and also teaches Elementary Physical Education. With his spare time, Coach Cobbs like to go hunting, fishing and playing sports. |
